The Estate

Stone, bougainvillea & open sky

A vision pursued without compromise

Ca Sou began as a traditional Mallorcan finca — a working farmhouse built from local stone, shaped over generations by the demands of the land. Its bones were extraordinary. Its potential, unrealised.

The reform changed everything that needed changing and left untouched everything that did not. Ancient arches were cleaned and repointed. Stone walls, once hidden, were exposed. The bougainvillea — crimson, purple, gold — was allowed to claim the walls as it had always intended to.

Forty-one thousand square metres

The property sits on a private lane between Pollensa and Alcudia, surrounded by over forty-one thousand square metres of Mallorcan countryside. To the south and west, the Tramuntana mountains. To the north and east, the shimmer of the Mediterranean.

Three to four cars fit on the private driveway. Stone walls define the boundary of the estate. Citrus trees, olive trees, and native planting fill the grounds. Entering through the gate is the moment the outside world stops.

The architecture, up close

Ancient stone walls, terracotta rooftiles, arched gateways draped in bougainvillea. The exterior of Ca Sou is authentic Mallorcan character — earned over centuries, refined by the reform.

The estate by night

As darkness falls, exterior lighting draws out the contours of the stone and the depth of the pool. The property does not go quiet at night — it simply becomes a different kind of beautiful.
